Whether a need is at 12 noon or
12 midnight, this dedicated group will be at your side in minutes of getting the
calls.
LEMS stands for Larchwood Emergency Medical Service. This First Responder
organization is made up of volunteers who continue to become educated and
trained to help their names in times of crisis. All the members are Emergency
Rescue Technicians; some are also First Responders and EMTs.
LEMS
was organized in 1977 by Ralph VanDenHul, Randy Childress, Jim Stubbe, and
Dave Langenhorst.
LEMS members meet the 2nd Thursday of every month at 7:00 at the LEMS
building.
If you would like to be a part of this important group, please
contact a member, they are always looking for new members. A minimum of 50 hours
of class time is required for training.
