Whether a need is at 12 noon or 12 midnight, this dedicated group will be at your side in minutes of getting the calls.

LEMS stands for Larchwood Emergency Medical Service. This First Responder organization is made up of volunteers who continue to become educated and trained to help their names in times of crisis. All the members are Emergency Rescue Technicians; some are also First Responders and EMTs.

LEMS was organized in 1977 by Ralph VanDenHul, Randy Childress, Jim Stubbe, and Dave Langenhorst.

LEMS members meet the 2nd Thursday of every month at 7:00 at the LEMS building.

If you would like to be a part of this important group, please contact a member, they are always looking for new members. A minimum of 50 hours of class time is required for training.
