Lake Pahoja Recreation Area  is a 282 acre highly developed recreation area which offers a wide variety of activities for all seasons including fishing and ice fishing, biking, hunting, bird watching, canoeing, and paddle boating.

There are 6 open picnic shelters with modern restroom facilities and drinking water nearby. Three playgrounds can be found along with two volleyball courts, a basketball court and horseshoe pits. Two enclosed lodges contain picnic tables, a fireplace and outdoor pedestal grills.

All the facilities are handicapped accessible along with a 1 1/3 mile hiking/biking trail along the north shore. A 3 2/3 mile hiking trail encircles the lake. A covered handicapped accessible fishing dock was completed in 2002.

There are six efficiency cabins that are available to rent. They have two sets of bunk beds, electricity, a sink with cold running water, microwave, hot plate, refrigerator, table, ceiling fan, broom and mop. Reservations can be made by contacting the Lyon County Conservation Board.
