The Friends of the Library has already paid for a new water heater and installation in the library

Friends of Library Raised Money for Water Heater

James Smith of DRG Mechanical, Inc. disposed of the decrepit water heater that hadn’t worked for several years.

There are friends and then there are Friends! People in this area think so much of the Larchwood Library, that even before the postponed walking taco fundraiser was actually held, enough money had been donated to the Friends of the Library, that the new water heater has already been purchased. There are still needs to be addressed at the library, though. Next to be replaced will be the library’s sinks and toilets. The non-functioning, but still hooked-up heater, is the culprit in ruining the sinks.
